Austrian će od početka 2024. početi dobivati Boeinga 787-9, njih ukupno 10. Avioni će do 2028. zamijeniti sve B767 i B777 kojih kompanija u floti ima 9. B767 flota je prosječno stara 23,6 a B777 22,4 godine, te će do 2028. avioni biti vrlo stari. Najstariji avion je B777 (OE-LPA), koji je star 25,7 godine. Najmlađi OE-LPD ima 16,3 godine i on će vjerojatno zadnji otići.

Trazeci clanak o Austrianu pronasao sam je jos bolji slucaj gde se Norvegian let vratio na polaznu lokaciju i procitajte objasnjenje.
The irony is that around 85 of the passengers were plumbers, many of them from Rørkjøp plumbing company.
Rørkjøp CEO Frank Olsen said he would have liked to have a crack at it but was thwarted by a technicality.
“We would have liked to fix the restrooms, but unfortunately it had to be done from the outside and we didn’t risk sending a plumber to work at 10,000m,” he told Dagbladet. “There was a good atmosphere in the plane, what with the irony about the broken toilets.”
