Ruska kompanija S7 je prodala 37% udjela u Cyprus Airwaysu malteškoj SJC Grupi. Prilikom prodaje kompanija je letjela samo dva A320ceo. No, novi vlasnici su odlučili proširiti kompaniju i u idućih 5 godina pribaviti 10 Airbusa A220-300. Airbus još nije potvrdio ovu narudžbu. Kompanija planira do 2026. povećati broj destinacija sa sadašnjih 19 na 30.
